What the client needed to solve
SajPe had a clear product vision: one app, any bank, instant UPI transfers. The challenge was the technical complexity of integrating with multiple banking APIs under a single interface while meeting RBI security standards. Existing white-label solutions were either too rigid to customise or too expensive for an early-stage fintech. They needed a custom build from the ground up.
What Matply built and why
We built a React Native app that shares a single codebase for Android and iOS, reducing maintenance overhead. The backend runs on Node.js with a Redis caching layer to handle high transaction throughput. UPI integrations are managed through a payment aggregator API with real-time transaction status webhooks. All sensitive data is encrypted at rest with AES-256. The app passed RBI compliance review on the first submission.
